Model Håkon /Heartbreak
The concept behind this series of images stemmed from my interest in working with one model over a longer period of time, so as to get to know the person better.
I wanted the series to fall somewhere in-between fashion editorial and documentary, portraying Håkon in a way that will hopefully make the viewer more interested in him as a person and his story, rather than what he’s wearing.
I met Håkon several times while shooting for this series – often just hanging out with him around the streets of London, in-between his castings or after work, photographing him wherever we went. The styling and the locations were not the central focus of this series, as I wanted the final outcome to feel somewhat spontaneous and playful, rather than highly structured.
