For this editorial I wanted to combine the idea of a silent, alone feminine character with the raw and hostile Icelandic nature. I wanted the story to feel real – no awkward poses and no crazy make up, just a girl alone in the nature. The styling was planned in advance, but everything else we made up as moved around and made the images. I didn’t want the shoot to be visualized in advance, I wanted it to be a natural process driven by where we were and what we saw.
